These brownies are raw with a beautiful gooey chocolatey frosting on the top made using completely natural ingredients. I hope you love as much as we do!
BROWNIES
– 150g almonds
– 100g walnuts
– 60g cacao powder
– 400g dates
ALMOND BUTTER FROSTING
– 2 tbsp coconut & almond butter (pip & nut)
– 3 tbsp cacao powder
– 2 tbsp almond milk
– 1 tbsp honey
– ½ tsp vanilla extract
– 2 tbsp melted coconut oil
– Place the almonds and walnuts in a food processor and pulse until grounded.
– Next add the cacao powder and mix within, transfer the mix once done to a separate bowl.
– Next add the dates and pulse. Once mixed set this aside.
– Add the cacao and nut mix back into the food processor and as it is mixing add your date mix bit by bit until you have a doughy mixture.
– Add all of the mix to a brownie tin and press down until you have a smooth flat surface.
– Place in the freezer for 10 mins whilst you make the almond butter frosting.
– To make almond butter frosting, combine all ingredients into a blender.
– Remove brownie tin from freezer and pour on top.
– Place back in freezer for another 10 mins.
– Remove from the freezer and cut into square slices and top with your favourite ingredients! Mine was raspberries but this could work with strawberries, banana or perhaps more walnut!
– ENJOY.
