If you need somewhere to start, try stewed apples! Why? They are extremely high in fibre and when stewed release the fibre Pectin which works to support gastric emptying, increase the absorption of nutrients and helps to maintain balance of the gut microbiome. They are also extremely high in the antioxidant quercetin which supports repairment.
HOW TO MAKE:
Add to pot on the hob
Add 1/2 cup of water & 1tsp cinammon
Cook on a medium heat for 20 minutes
Enjoy 1-2 tbsp per day!
