Who would have thought it could be so easy to make home made ice cream?!
To make banana ‘nice’ cream you can literally use just bananas which couldn’t be simpler.
I have added peanut butter here to give it an extra crunch and topped with two of my favourite sauces – chocolate & caramel, however feel free to add whatever you have available!
Nice Cream
2 BANANAS
2 TBSP PEANUT BUTTER
2 TBSP ALMOND MILK
BLEND IN A PROCESSOR/BLENDER UNTIL SMOOTH AND THEN TRANSFER INTO A TRAY AND PUT INTO THE FREEZER FOR 1 HOUR. AFTER AN HOUR, SCOOP OUT 6 ICE CREAM SCOOPS AND PLACE BACK INTO THE FREEZER FOR ANOTHER HOUR.
Chocolate Sauce
1.5 TBSP CACAO POWDER
2 TBSP COCONUT OIL
1 TBSP COCONUT SUGAR
PLACE INTO A PAN ON A MEDIUM HEAT. ONCE COMBINED PLACE IN THE FRIDGE FOR 30 MINUTES TO THICKEN.
Caramel Sauce
1.5 TBSP COCONUT OIL
1 TBSP COCONUT SUGAR
1 TBSP PEANUT BUTTER
2 TBSP HONEY (ADD ONCE COOLED)
PLACE ALL INGRDEIENTS EXCEPT THE HONEY INTO A PAN ON A MEDIUM HEAT TO COMBINE UNTIL SMOOTH. ONCE COOLED ADD THE HONEY.
SERVE BY SCOOPING THE ICE CREAM IN A JAR/LONG GLASS, POUR IN THE SAUCES AND TOP WITH BERRIES AND PEANUTS FOR THE PERFECT SUMMERS DESSERT!
