So as the mornings are getting colder I’ve been craving warming breakfast’s. My favourite is porridge. Porridge is one of those things you either love or hate – I love! But I can see how it can become boring so I like to have many different toppings so I can mix it up. I want to share my favourite 3 so you can enjoy too!
50g porridge oats
100ml boiling water
50ml almond milk
Toppings 1: Maple, raspberry & cacao nibs
2tbsp maple syrup
handful of raspberries
sprinkle of cacao nibs
Toppings 2: Apple, cinnamon & raisin
2 apples
1 tsp of cinnamon
1 tbsp. of raisins
1 tbsp. of water
1 tbsp. maple syrup
Mix all together and bake for around 30 mins.
(makes 3-4 portion toppings)
Toppings 3: Banana, almond butter & chia seed
1/2 banana
1 tbsp. almond butter
1 tsp chia seeds (optional)
